As a small business owner, member of the Tobacco Commission, and leader in economic development, Ben Chafin has focused on growing industries and creating jobs in Southwest Virginia. That is exactly what Ben Chafin has been doing in the General Assembly. A strong supporter of projects like the Clinch River State Park and Spearhead Trails, Ben has sponsored legislation and budget amendments in order to help the growing tourism industry in Southwest Virginia. As your representative, Ben works very closely with local governments, economic development and tourism agencies, and Industrial Development Authorities to promote the region to prospective employers to bring new jobs to Southwest Virginia.
